How to log in
Login/library card number: the number on the back of your card (should start with 26928)
PIN: the last 4 digits of your library card number
To get your free library card, fill in the online application, then come to the library within 2 weeks and show ID that proves you live, work or study in Benton Co. You can also fill in a paper application at the library.

Finding biographies on the shelf
Browsing for biographies
If you want to browse our shelves for a biography, visit the 921 call number section. There you will find biographies in alphabetical order of the last name of the person they're about (e.g. 921 Adams, 921 Gandhi, 921 Woolf, etc.), not by the last name of the person who wrote the book.
New Books
You will find newly-arrived biographies in the New Book section on the main floor of the library. Check out the "Coming Soon" tab above to see a selection of what we have on order.
Other places you'll find biography books
You will sometimes also find biographies in other sections. For example, sports biographies can also be found in the sports section. Other subjects where you'll often find biographies in other sections are history (e.g. biographies of Churchill) and religion (e.g. Thomas Merton).
Sometimes we'll put a biography/memoir in the subject section if we think it will be more useful to browsers there. For example, medical memoirs (cancer survival stories, etc.) are often in the health section, not in biography.
